Robin Graber, L.M.T., Rolfer
Robin Graber is a Certified Advanced Rolfer, as well as a Nevada licensed massage therapist (NVMT002). Robin started her bodywork career in 1995 at Seattle Massage School, a premier bodywork school in the Northwest. In completing the 900-hour program Robin became thoroughly grounded in anatomy and physiology, cornerstones of her focus on clinical and therapeutic massage. Following her graduation, Robin passed the National Certification Examination in 1996 and soon thereafter began her massage practice at Abrams Chiropractic, often regarded as the top Chiropractic practice in the greater Seattle area. After a close friend was taken by cancer, Robin decided to further her education by studying and specializing in cancer technique. She was awarded the Dick Stoddard Scholarship, which enabled her to study and certify as a Lymphedema Therapist.
Returning to Carson City, Nevada in 1998, Robin began her private practice, specializing in working with cancer patients and survivors, as well as clinical massage. After years of successful practice and the desire to further serve her clients, Robin made the commitment to study Rolfing at the Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado. Graduating in 2003, Robin incorporated Rolfing into her practice and has built success largely by word of mouth. She has continued to study the work, completing advanced trainings in scoliosis, pelvic dysfunction, and Rolfing Movement Integration. She completed the Rolf Institute Advanced Training in September 2008. Robin has most recently been studying neural manipulation and enjoys the balance of incorporating this with joint manipulation into her structural sessions.
Robin brings 13 years of experience to her bodywork practice. Her clientele is a long list of athletes, professional dancers, medical doctors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, fellow Rolf practitioners, chronic pain sufferers, children and people seeking to experience her knowledgeable and transformational touch.
