David Edge is a Nevada State licensed Doctor of Oriental Medicine.  He has also passed the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine exam for Acupuncture and herbal medicine.  He holds an undergraduate degree in Natural Science and a Master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine, (T.O.M.) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (P.C.O.M.) in San Diego, CA.  David's interest in the healing arts began in 1995 when he discovered yoga while living in S. Lake Tahoe.  In 1997 David moved to San Diego to begin studying massage therapy at Healing Hands School of Massage.  He started teaching yoga and began to take a special interest in Shiatsu and deep tissue massage.  The effectiveness of Shiatsu along witht the theory of acupuncture meridians fascinated David.  This interest led him to P.C.O.M. to pursue an in-depth study of this ancient healing art.  During his studies at P.C.O.M., David had the opportunity to purse externships with experienced practitioners.  David spent many hours bolunteering at these clincs gaining valuable experience in sports medicine, herbal medicine and pediatrics.
